I will begin my post with an apology - I am very sorry for not posting too often in this blog, but I was really busy lately.
So, excuses away, I want to share with you some of my autumn images.

My favorite sunrises
There is something very special about a sunrise. It has become some kind of a ritual for me, each morning to make a cup of coffee and stood up on the balcony waiting for the sun to rise up. Each sunrise is different by itself - sometime there are clouds and its magnificent, other times there is just the sun and the hot colors it provides during the time it is rising.
Jacobina macro
I got this flower as a gift from my parents after finishing the renovations in my home few years ago. Till this year it hasn't bloomed. I wasn't able to find the correct name of the flower in order to read how I was supposed to take care of it, till recently. This year I took it on the balcony and try my best to watch after it.
One day I saw that there were forming three blooms - two bigger ones and one smaller. I waited them to become bigger and started photographing it. My idea was with black background and lots of details, that's why I've put a macro filter of 4x (and sometimes 10x) and used focus stacking to get the following photos.

In pursuit of a sunset
This was one of the hottest summer days for this month and I was waiting for the clock to strike 7:00 pm in order to go out and find myself a nice landscape shot. In the afternoon there were magnificent clouds and they gave med fake hope for a nice sunset scene. I prepared myself and went out with a hope in my heart.

Just when I went out I met this old men taking his horse for a walk and graze. I just snaped some shots to make my settings and adjustments. I’ve selected Aperture priority at my Nikon D3200, at f/11 and ISO 100, with daylight white balance.

Flowers
Just some of my late spring flower shooting.
I am still learning how to take better photographs and most of them doesn't look good, but for this is a huge step. I don't have a macro lens, so for macro shots I use macro filters. Some of the shots are made by stacking lots of images (each focused on a different place) in order to get more detail from the shot.
Have a nice time looking at them!

Clouds
There is something very appealing in the clouds, don't you think? Since I was a kid - watching the clouds and their forms and shapes was one of my favorite things to do.
This first image is from a stormy evening in my town. The clouds were moving fast and soon after that there was a lightning storm.
