Snowing at our water reservoir

Ogosta reservoir is one of the biggest in our country and nicest places to spend some time admiring the real winter weather. At this point it is not snowing in our region, so I've searched through my photos from last year and found this image. The safe tower that you can see in the lower right corner was made with the idea to be used as a guard post, but as you can imagine it is not usable today. However I find it significant for this place and something that helps everyone recognize where the image was taken. i wish there was more snow this winter, but at least we have our photographs to see how the world looked like in different seasons, right? If you happen to pass by Montana, Bulgaria, definitely take some time to admire our water reservoir - depending on the season it looks very different.

Winter walk

Almost 2 month of winter passed and not a single snowflake, until few days ago. One Sunday morning I woke up to see a nice and heavy snowfall. No time to wait – a quick coffee and few minutes to prepare my camera. I went on this winter walk with my D7200 and a tripod. in the city the snow was beginning to melt, but on the nearby hill it was almost 20cm and still snowing. There were just few footprints in the snow left from some sporting people who went for a run.

Golden autumn

Those image that you will find here are the last ones from this year's autumn season. I will not bother you with long sentences about how beautiful this season could be, but I will let you decide for yourself.

Winter in Montana

The year 2017 starts with sun and warm weather in my town. Located in the North-West part of Bulgaria, Montana is a small town in witch January usually means - snow, cold and bad weather. Well few days after the beginning of the new year we got some serious amount of snow - over 35cm over one night.
It began to snow around 10:00pm on Thursday
